First post - all about our name

So my friends have been bugging me to start a blog, so here it goes.
For those that can't decipher the name of my blog it is 4 j's and a D - meaning our family. There are 4 in our family that have first names that begin with J - Jamiee, Jerrika, Jonathan and Jillianne. Then there's the lone D - Derek.
We have a strange set up in our family. Derek's name has 5 letters, mine is 6, Jerrika has 7, Jonathan 8 and Jillianne 9. The funny thing is, that only Jillianne's name spelling was planned or even worried about.
I remember when I was pregnant with Jilly (as we call her), Jerrika was in 2nd grade. She sat one day and figured out all the numbers in our name and told me that the baby had to have 9 or 4 letters in his or her name. So we thought about it and when we knew that baby was a girl, we determined that her name must be spelled the way it is.
